Talk Title: Extracellular vesicles from iPSC-MSCs as a promising acellular biotherapy for osteoarthritis

Danièle Noël is Research Director at Inserm in the Institute for Regenerative Medicine and Biotherapies (IRMB) in Montpellier. She earned her PhD in Health Biology from the University of Bordeaux and completed postdoctoral training in recombinant retrovirology and gene therapy in Montpellier before joining IRMB to focus on innovative cell therapy strategies. She currently leads the research group Tissue Engineering and Extracellular Vesicles for Osteoarticular Diseases. Her work focuses on mesenchymal stromal cells and their extracellular vesicles as innovative therapeutic approaches for osteoarticular and autoimmune diseases. Her research aims to unravel the molecular mechanisms underlying their therapeutic effects and to develop optimized bioproduction processes for EV-based therapies.

She also serves as Director of the OBBI integrator, dedicated to EV and organoid bioproduction, and as Scientific Lead of the ECELLFrance non-clinical models platform.
