Our Mission

The Irish Society for Gene and Cell Therapy (ISGCT) was established to advance knowledge, education, and collaboration in gene and cell therapy, supporting the clinical translation of these innovations to improve lives worldwide. Our vision is to provide a vibrant forum that brings together scientists, clinicians, patient advocates, and stakeholders to support the development of safe and effective therapies that transform medicine and address disease for patients in Ireland and beyond.

Building on the momentum of our initial meeting in 2025, the 2026 ISGCT Conference in Galway was a tremendous success. The event showcased outstanding science, fostered meaningful discussion, and strengthened our growing national and international community in this rapidly evolving field.

We are delighted to now look ahead to the 2nd Annual ISGCT Conference, which will take place at the Killashee Hotel in 2027. Planning is already underway, and we are excited to continue growing this dynamic forum for collaboration, innovation, and impact.

We look forward to welcoming you again as we build a strong and connected gene and cell therapy community in Ireland.
